    부산연안지역 블루카본 자원은 탄소중립 달성에 활용 가능한 잠재력이 높은 자원임부산시는 2050 탄소중립 목표 달성을 위해 연안지역 블루카본 자원의 발굴과 활용 확대가 필요함본 연구는 부산연안의 블루카본 자원을 조사하고 공인 서식지 확대 방안을 검토함갯벌과 해조류 등 인증 추진 중인 후보군의 보호와 복원 방안도 함께 제시함국내외 블루카본 기반 탄소중립 추진 동향과 정책 사례를 분석함부산연안지역의 블루카본 자원 현황과 탄소 흡수 잠재력을 평가함블루카본 기반 탄소중립 달성을 위한 전문가 의견을 수렴함부산지역 육역과 해양지역의 단위면적당 탄소 흡수량을 비교함해양지역은 해양 자체와 식물 플랑크톤의 탄소 순환을 고려할 경우 흡수 잠재력이 커지는 것으로 평가됨항만·항구·어촌 지역별 온실가스 배출량 인벤토리와 데이터베이스 구축이 필요함스마트 감시·자원 확보·보호와 보전·기반 구축의 4대 추진전략을 제시함블루카본 자원 확대와 건강한 연안 생태계 조성을 통해 부산의 탄소중립 목표 달성에 기여하고자 함
